Staff
All the staff will be trained to the highest standard and will be expected to treat every individual with respect and dignity, recognizing that change will occur providing that the individual is given the appropriate tools and self development to use them.
We currently employ three members of staff. The two support workers are qualified in various levels of Substance Misuse and mental health Management and have experience in the field of addiction and mental health.
We sometimes offer placements for trainee counselors and support workers with appropriate supervision and support for themselves.
The manager is an accredited Psychologist with the BPS, holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology Degree is completing a Clinical Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. The manager also holds a Diploma in Alcohol and Drug Addiction/Basic Counseling RSA/Solution Focused Practice Training/Relaxation Stress Management/
Therapeutic Engagement Training/CBT Training/Health and Safety Certificate/Equality and Diversity/Life Coaching Diploma.
The manager has 8 years of professional experience working with addiction and mental health difficulties within the mental health statutory services, the voluntary sector and residential rehabilitation centres. He also has extensive group counseling experience in many different facets, expanding the group therapy to encompass individuals’ needs.
In addition, a vast experience of supervising staff in the supported housing setting, supplying both therapeutic support, management around care standards and individual support.
He is also interested in improving the current Drug & Alcohol treatment provision through his research papers covering the existing systems in place and his assessment their effectiveness.

The monitoring of staff will be both internally and externally by supervision. All staff will be encouraged to expand their already good wealth of knowledge through training and supervision which will be recorded on staffs personnel files.
